At McKenzie River Doodles, we are honored to support the men and women who have served our country. We recognize the life-changing impact a properly trained service dog can have and are committed to helping veterans take the first step in that journey.

Double doodles are known for their:

• High intelligence and trainability 
• Gentle, intuitive temperament 
• Strong bonding ability with their handler 
• Low-shedding coats (helpful for allergy-sensitive households) 
• Our doodles should produce hypoallergenic puppies as both parents are hypoallergenic

These traits make them excellent candidates for service, therapy, and support roles when properly trained.

While we are not a service dog training organization, we provide:

• Carefully bred puppies with strong temperaments 
• Early socialization and foundational training 
• Exposure to real-life environments, people, and sounds 
• Guidance on selecting a puppy with service potential 

We work closely with families to help identify the right puppies that show traits that are best suited for service-oriented work.

• Provide documentation of military service 
• Provide documentation of service dog need (if applicable) 
• Demonstrate readiness and commitment to training 
• Show ability to provide a stable, supportive home environment

Service dogs require extensive professional training beyond what we provide. We strongly encourage working with a qualified service dog trainer or program to ensure your dog meets all necessary standards.
