 At McKenzie River Doodles, our mission is to raise exceptional double doodle puppies that are healthy, well-socialized, and truly prepared to thrive in their forever homes. We are deeply committed to responsible breeding, thoughtful placement, and lifelong support for every family that adopts from us.

Every puppy from McKenzie River Doodles receives:

• Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming 
• Full veterinary health exam prior to placement 
• Monitoring of growth and development specific to large-breed doodles 

We recommend the following ongoing care:

• Routine veterinary visits throughout puppyhood 
• High-quality large-breed puppy food to support proper growth 
• Joint and mobility awareness as your puppy matures 
• Spay/neuter timing based on veterinarian guidance for large breeds 

Our goal is to ensure your puppy begins life with a strong, healthy foundation.

To keep your puppy safe and set them up for success, we recommend:

• Secure fencing or a safely enclosed outdoor area 
• Crate/kennel training follow through for structure and safety 
• Puppy-proofed indoor living spaces 
• Supervised exploration during early development 

Large-breed doodles require both space and structure to grow into well-balanced companions.

At McKenzie River Doodles, we take early development seriously.  Your puppy will be:

• Introduced to potty training routines 
• Started on kennel/crate training 
• Socialized with people, children, and other pets 
• Exposed to household noises and real-life environments 

Our Goal: To have puppies well-started in potty and kennel training by 10-12 weeks of age, helping create a smooth and successful transition into your home.

We follow best practices similar to the American Kennel Club Responsible Dog Owner guidelines to ensure each puppy is matched with the right family.

We require all potential adopters to provide:

• Employment type and schedule 
• Average daily hours spent at home 
• Activity level and lifestyle 
• Family interests and hobbies 
• Current pets and home environment 

This allows us to thoughtfully match each puppy to a home where they will thrive.

We do not place puppies prematurely.

• Puppies go home between 10–12 weeks of age 
• This allows for: 
  • Stronger immune development 
  • Advanced socialization 
  • Early training progress already established 

Our approach reduces common challenges and gives families a better starting point.

• Puppies range from $2,400 
• A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy from an upcoming litter. 

Deposit Policy:

• Deposits secure your puppy within this litter
• Deposits are applied toward the final purchase price 
• Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable to a future litter (at breeder discretion)

• Feeding and nutrition guidance 
• Grooming support specific to doodle coats
